Estrogenic and Steroidogenesis Test
Rapid Estrogen Activity In Vivo assay
Tests are performed on whole organisms (newly hatched medaka eggs) exposed at the in vitro scale for 24h.
Alternative method replacing animal testing. Performed at an early eleuthero-embryonic stage.
Assay protocols adapted to your needs: regulatory, R&D, manufactured products portfolio screening.
The purpose of the REACTIV test is to measure the ability of a chemical to activate or inhibit the estrogenic axis.
The REACTIV test has been shown to detect chemicals acting through a variety of mechanisms of action including steroidogenesis.

Oestrogenic test used for regulatory purposes
The OECD classifies endocrine disruption according to 5 levels described in Guidance Document 150. The higher the level is, the stronger the weight of evidence.
The Level 3 REACTIV estrogen assay
The key point with level 3: it allows the use of alternative methods on whole organisms for some tests like the REACTIV assay.
